It's both.
I thought for the longest time that I was mostly heart.
Creativity, twirling, dancing, drawing, loving.
But it has come to light that the analysis and measurement of the external world is essential fuel, too.
I now see that I've spent a lifetime counting, analyzing and memorizing everything my eyes and ears could reach.
Steps, signs, rows, buttons, rivets, headlights, minutes......
The calculation of time, a precious favorite - and backwards is an especially satisfying game.
Objects turn to numbers and then to music in my head as I tap them out with my fingers and march in time with the rhythm.
